(Yahoo!) - Rachel Frederickson, a 24-year-old voiceover artist who began Season 15 of “The Biggest Loser” weighing 260 pounds, lost 155 pounds — 59.62 percent of her body weight — to become this season's champ and add $250,000 to her bank account.
“It’s that moment where I had to say, ‘I’m going to embrace being me, and being different,’” Frederickson told host Allison Sweeney before she stepped on the scale for her final weigh-in. “And just choosing to own my past and move forward in this life, and knowing that I can take control and do anything that I want … it’s been amazing.
“You know, it’s okay to ask for help, it’s okay to follow your own path,” she said, before giving a shout-out to her supportive mom in the audience.
Runner-up for Season 15: 43-year-old project manager David Brown, whose 222-pound weight loss led to what Sweeney called the most incredible makeover in “Biggest Loser” history. Brown didn’t snag the big prize, but he shouldn’t be surprised if a few modeling offers come his way.
Ditto third-place finisher Bobby Saleem, 28, an attorney who shed 188 pounds and came out to his family during the competition.
With Rachel's dramatic weight loss has come an uproar of concern. Fans are questioning if the now 105 lb winner lost too much weight and is now "too thin."
Jillian Michaels called in to Connecticut's The River 105.9 where she weighed in on the controversy. Find out what she said below!
