Family seeks help finding pregnant, disabled woman

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) — Family and friends of a pregnant developmentally disabled woman missing since last week in Rhode Island are appealing for the public's help in finding her.

Twenty-one-year-old Luisa Pena hasn't been heard from since Wednesday. She's three months pregnant, has a profound speech impediment and doesn't drive.

Pena attended Central Falls High School and was there last Tuesday to speak with some former teachers. Teacher Jordana Tillinghast says Pena was scared and shaking. Tillinghast says Pena reported an assault by three men to police last week and was concerned that put her in more danger.

Tillinghast says she worries Pena may be with an unknown fourth man she recently met at the Pawtucket bus station.
