(Cleveland, OH) -- NBA superstar LeBron James is going back to the Cleveland Cavaliers. "King James" has agreed to a deal to return to his original team. He made the announcement today in a column for "Sports Illustrated." James spent his first seven seasons with the Cavs before signing with the Miami Heat as a free agent and winning two NBA titles. In announcing his decision, James also noted that he won't be having a press conference or a party. "After this," he wrote "it's time to get to work."
The column started off with a heartfelt nod to his hometown. James said "Before anyone ever cared where I would play basketball, I was a kid from Northeast Ohio." He went on to say that his relationship with that area is "bigger than basketball." LeBron admitted that he hadn't realized that four years ago, but said he does now.
